Monstrosity rises from the extreme metal underground with their new album, "Screams From Beneath The Surface". Drummer and founder Lee Harrison leads a totally vicious lineup. Longtime guitar player Matt Barnes shreds alongside returning original bass player Mark Van Erp. Singer Ed Webb joins the ranks, vomiting deep, guttural vocals into the microphone. These maniacs unleash a furious storm of technical death metal.
"Screams From Beneath The Surface" contains ten tracks of pure musical destruction. The riffs crush skulls and the drumming annihilates everything in its path. "Banished To The Skies" and "The Atrophied" deliver insane speed and sick technical playing. The guitars shred through flesh and the rhythm section pounds relentlessly. Every single second inflicts maximum sonic damage.
The destruction escalates with "The Dark Aura" and "Fortunes Engraved In Blood". The band executes brutal tempo changes and insane musical attacks. The lyrical imagery paints a dark, violent picture in your head. Monstrosity blasts through the speakers with supreme aggression. The music stays devastating and savage across the entire runtime.
The recording process involved two massive, legendary studios. Jason Suecof handled drums, bass, and mixing duties at Audiohammer Studios. Jim Morris, Mark Prator, and BJ Ramone tracked vocals, guitars, and completed the mastering at Morrisound Studios. Splitting the work resulted in a massive, heavy sonic assault. The final product sounds totally destructive and enormous.
Artist Timbul Cahyono painted the cover art entirely by hand. The image contains zero computer generation or artificial intelligence. The painting perfectly captures the brutal nature of the music inside. Monstrosity created a highly destructive death metal album. They blast ahead and destroy everything in their path.
