A tribute to: Mike Browning (1964-2026)
Michael-George Browning was an American drummer, vocalist and songwriter whose imagination helped shape the early Florida death metal scene. Born on May 26, 1964, in Tampa, Florida, Mike began playing drums at the age of 13, practicing along with records by bands such as Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin. His developing style was also influenced by the darker and more aggressive sounds of Slayer, Mercyful Fate and Angel Witch.
