“Swarm Of Insects” has a very disturbing and symbolic title. What inspired the image behind it?Andreas: The title is meant to be just that: disturbing and symbolic. Of course, a swarm of insects can be a very concrete threat, but not least it invokes strong images of divine oppression, sin, and rebellion. The Bible, and religious fables in general, remains a great source of shared cultural metaphors.

A tribute to: Mike Browning (1964-2026)

Michael-George Browning was an American drummer, vocalist and songwriter whose imagination helped shape the early Florida death metal scene. Born on May 26, 1964, in Tampa, Florida, Mike began playing drums at the age of 13, practicing along with records by bands such as Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin. His developing style was also influenced by the darker and more aggressive sounds of Slayer, Mercyful Fate and Angel Witch.
