Hailing from Australia, Mammon's Throne has spent the last few years crushing stages and leaving ruins in their wake. They dropped their debut album "Forward Unto Flame" back in 2020 and kept the destruction going with a punishing self-titled release in 2023. Sharing stages with heavyweights like My Dying Bride, Conan, Pallbearer, and Rotting Christ, these guys have forged a serious reputation in the extreme metal underground. Now, they return with their third full-length attack, "My Body To The Worms", delivered through the Hammerheart label.

"My Body To The Worms" delivers pure devastation. The music merges crushing death doom riffing with the freezing cold tremolo picking of black metal. Matthew Miller unleashes brutal, deep gutturals alongside piercing shrieks, dominating the audio assault entirely. The guitars, handled by Amesh Perera and Johnny Chammas, tear through the speakers with a massive, punishing tone. They throw down bone-crushing riffs and sinister leads, creating an atmosphere of total despair. Down below, Sam Talbot-Canon on bass and Nick Boschan on drums drive the assault with a relentless, thundering groove.

This album takes you straight to the graveyard and buries you alive. The band strips away all the garbage and simply attacks with pure, unyielding destruction. Every single riff strikes like a sledgehammer to the skull. You get the dragging, sorrowful doom passages violently crashing into fast, blistering black metal segments. The music drops massive beatdowns, proving these guys exist strictly to smash skulls. The transitions keep the momentum going and the blood flowing. It is pure sonic violence.
