Possession exploded out of the deepest trenches of the underground as an absolute force of supreme darkness and occult worship. Over the years, the Belgian maniacs built a massive reputation through relentless live assaults and highly revered early tapes. They live in a realm of pure madness and blasphemy, channeling evil forces into intense musical terror. The band maintains a strict devotion to extreme metal, forging fast anthems designed for headbangers and the damned. They constantly summon sinister energies to fuel their eternal fire.

Now, Possession unleashes "The Mother Of Darkness", a killer full-length heavily steeped in sinister lore and blood-soaked sacrifices. The story drags the listener deep inside the infamous Bulges Forest, straight to a hidden castle ruled by demonic entities. This supreme evil feeds off the souls of the innocent, demanding a continuous stream of slaughtered angels. The horror translates flawlessly right into the riffs.

Songs like "The Black Chapel" and "Graveside Prayer" deliver immense aggression through frantic riffing and blast beats. The guitars slash through the speakers with a raw, vicious tone. The vocals tear through the mix with absolute savagery, screaming out the horrifying tales of nocturnal hunts and doomed spirits. During "The Wild Hunt (Let Them Run)", the drums hammer away mercilessly, driving the terrifying madness forward with zero compromise.

The evil intensifies on "Exhulted Hearts" and "Cry-Shine-Die". The guitars weave a suffocating atmosphere, dropping into slower, crushing sections before accelerating into total extreme metal warfare. Tracks like "Latrodectus Tela" and "Young Blood Ritual" feature sinister melodies intertwined with unrelenting rhythmic barrages. The lads just rip through these sections like absolute maniacs.

Possession delivers an awesome level of pure underground metal destruction with this release. "The Mother Of Darkness" completely satisfies the craving for fast, evil, and uncompromising extreme music. The sound is raw and organic, capturing the essence of a genuine occult gathering. Maniacs of the underground will completely embrace these cursed tracks. Possession returns with an absolute triumph of terror.
