Mylingar is an anonymous entity operating from an undisclosed location, keeping their identities entirely hidden from the public eye. Seven years ago, they unleashed a trilogy of death and black metal that left a severe mark on the extreme music underground. Now, the four individuals behind the moniker have ended their long silence to begin an entirely new chapter. "Út" arrives as the primary volume of a fresh trilogy, emerging straight from a prolonged hibernation of diseased minds.
The music presented on "Út" brings a barrage of auditory violence that tramples on common sense. Mylingar builds their attack on a foundation of extreme dissonance, tearing through conventional structures with absolute ruin. The guitar work operates through a sick, morbid filter, generating a suffocating environment of pure sonic terror. Every riff and blast beat works to push a completely putrid atmosphere, refusing to offer any traditional melody.
A defining aspect of this extreme execution lies in the vocal performance. The shrieks and growls delivered here are simply inhuman, dominating the entire mix with an overwhelming darkness. The extreme dissonance and vocal terror provide a satisfying dose of destruction, making the journey extremely linear and relentlessly harsh. It is an uncompromising listen meant only for those seeking absolute musical violence.
