Gore Force V have been blasting eardrums since 2007, merging blistering death metal speed with pure grindcore frenzy and totally warped, over-the-top humor. These Belgian sickos drop their third full-length album in three years, and "Annus Porkus Oinkus" marks their sixth release overall. This time around, they finally hooked up with a label, dropping this sickness via Rotten To The Core Records with distribution from Germany’s Rotten Roll Rex. The whole package drips with absolute ridiculousness, proving they refuse to take anything seriously except the riffs.

The music stays completely locked into fast-paced brutality. The guitars tear through the speakers, leaving a trail of pure violence. They throw some technical riffing into the blender on "Dead Hooker Necromancy 101: Correct Use Of A Shovel", dropping twisted fretboard work straight into your skull. Then they switch gears entirely on "Circle Jerking For Dummies", dropping down into a massive groove before tearing right back into high-velocity thrash speeds. The drums blast and pound continuously, driving the absolute lunacy forward.

Digging into the vault, "Anus Of The Blue Goat: The Rectum Strikes Back" resurrects an old stomper from their earliest days and injects it with a fresh dose of sickness. The vocal delivery spits pure filth over the relentless double bass. "Saptem!! (En Sterf)" takes the grind influence to the absolute extreme, featuring throat-shredding guest vocal spots from Jesse Buytaert, Tim De Meyer, and Jolle Antonissen. Their combined vocal assault destroys everything in its path, delivering maximum aggression.

Surprisingly, "Coathanger Abortions On Ice" throws some unexpected melodic guitar lines into the mix, offering a weirdly catchy variation to their standard auditory violence. The album concludes with "Repulsive Swampdonkey Lesbromancy", a song that sounds incredibly brutal despite having the most absurd title imaginable. The track smashes through the speakers with aggressive riffing and guttural sounds, summarizing the entire album's savage sound perfectly.

The physical presentation completely reflects their demented humor. Belgian cartoonist Hanne Dewachter hand-drew the cover art, slapping a massive pig head right in the middle of a bright, vibrant stained-glass window design. The brightly saturated colors strongly contradict the dark imagery typically associated with extreme metal, resulting in a hilariously disturbing visual. The entire album provides a totally savage and ridiculous ride for anyone craving fast, idiotic deathgrind.

Score: 7.5
