Sylosis formed in the early 2000s in Reading, England, building a massive reputation for shredding riffs and relentless aggression. The current lineup features Josh Middleton handling guitar and lead vocals, Ali Richardson destroying the drums, Conor Marshall tearing up the rhythm guitar, and Ben Thomas holding down the bass. Over the years, they survived lineup changes and hiatuses to become a dominant force in modern metal. Now, they return with their seventh full-length album, "The New Flesh", dropping via Nuclear Blast Records.

"The New Flesh" delivers eleven blistering tracks of absolute fury. The riffs are incredibly fast and violently precise. Middleton and Marshall trade vicious licks and massive solos across songs like "Beneath The Surface" and "All Glory, No Valour". The guitar work constantly drives the momentum forward. Richardson destroys his kit with blast beats and insane double bass patterns. Thomas locks in with the drums, providing a huge, rumbling low end. The entire band plays with supreme aggression and absolute precision.

The vocal delivery on "The New Flesh" is utterly ferocious. Middleton screams and growls through every single verse and chorus. His voice drips with pure rage. Lyrically, the album explores dark, destructive themes, matching the musical intensity perfectly. The production sounds massive and thunderous. The guitars roar out of the speakers, the bass thumps right in your chest, and the drums crack like a whip. Nuclear Blast Records gave them an enormous sonic profile, making every single riff sound massive and devastating.

Listening to "The New Flesh" makes you want to destroy your room and dive headfirst into a mosh pit. Songs like "Mirror Mirror" and "Adorn My Throne" are absolute rippers engineered for the live stage. The musicians completely ignore modern trends, sticking exclusively to their brutal thrash and death metal roots. You get zero compromise and zero filler across the entire runtime. It is simply pure, unyielding heavy metal played by musicians completely dedicated to the underground.

Sylosis delivered a massive triumph with "The New Flesh". The album destroys everything in its path. It requires absolute volume and maximum attention. The four members operated at peak physical output to create these eleven tracks. Fans will blast this entire release until their speakers blow out. "The New Flesh" completely obliterates expectations, solidifying Sylosis as true metal titans.
