Belgium’s Shewolff started as the solo creation of K. Von Shewolff before growing into a full three-piece fueled by primitive black metal filth and punk aggression. Their early demo already pushed a raw and furious attack aimed at decay, frustration, and survival instincts, and now “We’re All Gonna Fukking Die” takes that same spirit and throws it into a louder, nastier, and more focused form. The band pull heavily from the old underground tradition where attitude matters as much as execution, and the result comes across like a rusted blade dragged across concrete.
“We’re All Gonna Fukking Die” runs on filthy blackened speed, punk rhythms, and a constant sense of pressure that never loosens its grip. The riffs come swinging with that old Hellhammer and early Bathory spirit hanging over the material, while the drumming pushes everything forward with reckless force.
The production stays rough and stripped down, giving the songs a wild and untamed character that fits the band perfectly. It attacks with instinct and leaves the scars visible.
One of the strongest elements on the mini-album is K. Von Shewolff’s vocal performance. There is an icy fury in the delivery that separates the band from many others mining this style. The voice spits, screams, and tears through the songs with a frightening energy that gives the material extra menace. That savage edge mixes well with the punk undercurrent running through the EP, creating something that sounds vicious. The band clearly knows how to balance black metal filth with street-level rebellion.
Shewolff may still be at the beginning of their path, though “We’re All Gonna Fukking Die” already shows a strong identity and a believable underground spirit. The band stay faithful to savage old-school black metal and metalpunk without sounding lifeless or mechanical. This mini-album has enough fire, aggression, and character to leave a strong impression, especially for listeners raised on the filthier side of the underground.
