Beyond Seventh Dimension is a Finnish atmospheric black metal band that started in 2025 as a one man project. Vocals came in right after the first track was done, and what was meant to be a few tracks escalated into a full length album. Saku Moilanen handles guitars and bass, Anssi Pennanen plays drums, and a full lineup is only a possibility for now, time will tell. "Tähtien Ikuinen Suru" is the debut via Inverse Records.

Seven tracks, one subject. "Tähtien Ikuinen Suru" translates as eternal sorrow of the stars, and the titles hold to that line to the end. "Silurian Seas" goes back to Earth's ancient oceans, "Ancient Worlds Of Cosmos Redshift 7" points at a galaxy at extreme distance, "Blazing Tears Of Nebulae" and "Dawn Of Extinction" stay in cosmic ruin, and "Eternal Love For The Unreachable" brings that scale down to personal grief. The order ends on "Rogue Planet, Symbol Of Depression", a lone drifting world as the final image, a smart call after so much deep time.

Moilanen also handles the mix and master at Deep Noise Studios, and the band wrote all the music and lyrics itself, so every stage from composition to final master comes from the same hands and the seven tracks speak in one voice. The cover art comes from Tiina Törmänen. Space and grief is a worn road in atmospheric black metal, and a band that began as a one man experiment could have collapsed into a loose collection of tracks. This one holds its line from the title track to the closer. A strong debut and firm one.
