Genre Black Metal
Origin United States
Tsirhic is a new one-man black metal band from the United States, working within the cold, satanic tradition of the mid to late ’90s underground. Its debut mini-album, “To Satan I Reply...”, draws heavily from the era associated with Moonblood, Judas Iscariot and Osculum Infame, with a sound rooted in raw production, primitive aggression and anti-Christian hostility. The project follows an uncompromising approach to black metal, placing its emphasis on the genre’s underground origins and occult atmosphere.
“To Satan I Reply...” contains five tracks, with raw guitar tones, basic production and hostile vocals shaping its musical direction. “Blessed Be” introduces the album’s cold atmosphere, while “H.I.P.C.” and “God Dethroned” maintain the record’s satanic perspective through abrasive riffing and primitive arrangements. “The Prophecy Of Gog” continues along the same path, with “Mockery Of Solitude” closing the release in a bleak, hostile fashion.
The production retains a rough, unrefined sound, and the vocals recall the old-school delivery associated with Gorgoroth’s Hat and Mütiilation’s Meyhna’ch. The lyrics and overall atmosphere remain firmly attached to satanic and anti-Christian themes, with little interest in expanding beyond the established boundaries of second-wave black metal.
