Osmium Gate erupted from Salt Lake City, Utah, in December 2024. The duo features Drew Ehrgott ripping on guitar and bass, alongside drummer Rene Gomez. Ehrgott honed his vicious craft in Reverence Of The Martyr. Gomez annihilates the kit for Ibex Throne and Yaotl Mictlan. They joined forces to forge "Cannibal Galaxy", plunging headfirst into extreme metal dimensions. Ehrgott tracked, mixed, mastered, and designed the visual artwork for this independent assault.
"Cannibal Galaxy" delivers absolute, unrelenting ferocity. The riffs blast through the speakers like an impending asteroid strike. Ehrgott summons freezing tremolo picking and neck-breaking chords. His guitar work weaves sinister melodies across towering sonic landscapes. Gomez destroys his drum kit with punishing blast beats and thunderous double bass artillery. They synchronize flawlessly, attacking the listener with unyielding speed and dark, freezing atmospheres. The extreme metal foundation fuses entirely with true black metal frost.
The production rips through the void with supreme aggression. Every cymbal crash and snare strike shatters the silence. The bass lines rumble deep underneath the swirling guitar storms. Tracks like "Sailing Stone" and "Whale Fall" unleash grim, frostbitten malice. The music drags the listener across barren alien wastelands. Osmium Gate focuses entirely on destructive riffing and hypnotic, pummeling sections. They execute their vicious musical assault with lethal precision. Unyielding black metal fury radiates constantly from the outer cosmos.
"Cannibal Galaxy" completely annihilates the senses. Osmium Gate executes a phenomenal debut full of cosmic terror. The guitars mesmerize, and the drums crush everything in their path. Fans of Emperor, Dissection, and Watain will devour this absolute triumph. The duo conquers the black metal void entirely. The darkness consumes the stars.
