Hell Trepanner formed in Lima, Peru back in 2015. The three-piece unit consists of Max Necromanza handling vocals and bass duties, Neil Destruktor attacking the guitars, and Manolo Agressor bashing the drum kit. For years, the trio focused on developing their South American extreme metal approach before finally unleashing "The Consecration Of Eternal Impurity" through Awakening Records. The band takes their name seriously, creating music designed to drill straight into your skull.
The music on "The Consecration Of Eternal Impurity" operates entirely as a straightforward death metal assault. You get an immediate blast of furious guitar work, wild dive-bomb whammy bar action, and relentless blast beats. Max Necromanza vomits low, guttural vocals over the constant barrage of speed and aggression. South American extreme metal always packs a specific type of raw fury, and Hell Trepanner channels that geographical trait straight into their songwriting. They keep the tempos shifting constantly to maintain a violent energy throughout the runtime.
Songs like "Supremacy Of Obscurity" and "Blaspheming In Primordial Tongues" bring massive rhythmic shifts and unyielding speed. Neil Destruktor fires off fast, slicing riffs that transition violently into heavy mid-tempo beatdowns. On longer offerings like "From Perpetual Catacombs" and "Descend To The Eternal Funeral", the band drags their sinister musical ideas through the mud over extended durations. The writing stays completely focused on blasphemy and death, relying on sheer aggression to get the job done. "Barbaric Desecrator" simply throws down ridiculous speed and absolute sonic destruction.
They laid down these tracks at Dragon Verde Studios and got everything mixed and mastered at Sounds Of Perseverance Studios. The final result sounds gigantic and completely organic. The guitars are thick and menacing, giving the riffs total dominance over the rhythm section. The drums crash through the speakers naturally, throwing down a heavy foundation for the bass lines to rumble underneath. Hell Trepanner locked in a crushing sound that accurately captures their ferocious live energy.
"The Consecration Of Eternal Impurity" delivers a vicious dose of death metal violence. The Peruvian trio plays with total dedication to extreme music, bringing speed, brutality, and heavy riffs without hesitation. The whole album gets straight to the point and provides tons of aggressive metal to bang your head to. The songs stay completely focused on destruction and deliver a thoroughly ripping time for underground metal maniacs.
