Frank Palangi is an independent hard rock artist from Upstate New York, active through a strongly DIY approach to his music. On "Vampire", he handles vocals, guitars, bass, synths, recording, production, mixing and mastering, with David Nester on drums. The release also connects with earlier recording sessions involving Michael McManus at Rivergate Studios, while additional work on "The Dragon" was completed at the studio of Chris Henderson of 3 Doors Down. The vampire concept reflects a period of personal and artistic return, using darkness, transformation and rebirth as its central ideas.
"Vampire" presents five songs that move through heavy hard rock, post-grunge melodies and darker atmospheric passages. The production gives the guitars a prominent position, while synth elements add a cinematic layer around the main arrangements. Palangi's vocals shift between melodic delivery and a heavier approach, matching the darker material across the EP. "Tomorrow Ends", "Vampire", "RadioActive", "Life & Death" and "The Dragon" form a compact release with a clear thematic connection. The songwriting stays focused on hooks, heavy guitar work and dramatic atmosphere, with the lyrics tied closely to themes of change, return and personal transformation. The production also reflects Palangi's hands-on approach, resulting in an independent hard rock release with a personal stamp.
